Hayley Farnworth - Director and Graphic / Web Designer

Hayley joined Kudos web design in October 2001 as Web Designer and Manager, and took over ownership of the company April 2002.

Hayley has over eight years' experience as a graphic artist, web designer and project manager. She has a certificate in Graphic Design and Production from Auckland Institute of Technology where she passed computer studies with distinction.

As the Manager of Kudos web design, Hayley takes care of the day to day business operations as well as overseeing new projects and managing the team.

Jay Farnworth - Photographer and Webmaster

Jay officially joined Kudos web design in October 2004.

Jay studied Marketing at Auckland Institute of Technology (including papers in commercial law, computer concepts, communication and accounting), and in year 2000, he completed a Certificate in Film and Television Production at the Auckland Film Institute.

In April 2007 Jay was awarded the honour and distinction of Licentiate of the Photographic Society of New Zealand arising from the recommendation of a panel of distinguished PSNZ members recognising his photographic skills.

Jay's key role at Kudos is providing photography services and ongoing web site maintenance for clients. He is also actively involved in assisting with new projects and the long term development of the company.


Barbara van Hove - Web Designer

Barbara has many years of business experience - 12 years of which have been involved in the international aviation industry, marketing and managing commercial passenger aircraft.

Barbara decided to change her career focus and started working with Kudos in September 2003 as Project Manager. Her first year gave her a good introduction into the industry and the company.

Barbara's interest in the creative side of the business lead her to develop her skills further to become a fully fledged web designer. She committed to furthering her knowledge by formalising her skills and recently completed a Diploma of Digital Media at Media Design School. Barbara now contracts as a Web Designer to Kudos.


Daniel Drupsteen - Database Developer and ColdFusion Programmer

Daniel has been designing web sites for several years and has been a contractor for Kudos web design since completing his Diploma in E-commerce and Certificate in Advanced Computing and Web Design in November 2001.

Having specialised in ColdFusion programming, Daniel's skills in both front- and back-end design and development make him a unique and valued resource. These talents were recognised when he won the 2002 TUANZ award for Innovation in E-commerce.


Lee Kretschmar - Graphic Designer and Pre-Press Artist

Lee has been working in the graphic design industry for 19 years and has contracted to Kudos web design for the last five years.

She graduated with a diploma in Visual Communication Design from Wellington Polytechnics's School of Design and since then has worked in a variety of design and pre-press positions before starting her own freelance business in 1998.

Lee's extensive knowledge of colour systems, fonts and the printing process make her a valuable part of our graphic design and print management services.


Graham Simpson - Programming and Hosting Consultant

Graham is a vastly-experienced programmer specialising in VB and database applications. Graham discovered the exciting opportunities presented by the ColdFusion web application software in 1999 and has rapidly adapted and developed his skills in that area.

Graham has been a ColdFusion and Hosting Consultant for Kudos web design since June 1999 and has been the specialist programmer for numerous dynamic web sites we have built.
