Destination Rotorua Marketing sought an engaging, multifaceted website with extensive connections to third party data sources, including Tourism New Zealand and CRM. A major feature of this multi-site implementation was the ability for third parties to update complex multi-strata listings. We also used advanced enterprise marketing features such as personalisation.
In timeline view, events are displayed to enable users to easily find and view large amounts of information in calendar order. A listing can be added to a user’s wishlist by clicking on the “add” button.
Multiple source and controller listings
Content is pulled from various sources: editable by DRM staff, entered by operator through RotoruaNZ.com, entered by Tourism New Zealand and dynamically pulled from Bookit to give individual provider listings for accommodation, dining and retail outlets.
